Yes exactly. I have the referenced setup file, and when I want to install it from the command line like this:
"C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" "f:\DOWNLOAD\program\Not on DVD Yet\WireSetup.exe"
it crashes under Windows Pro [Version 10.0.10586] during installation.

AV is MS Defender.

However, if I try to install it from Sandboxie's "Run Any Program", the installation works.

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. I tried running the application from the command prompt, dragging and dropping, and "Run Any program", all three options worked.
Can you please try creating a new Sandbox and see it the problem follows you there? Do you receive an error message?

You can also try to disable your AV protection AND/OR add these files to the exclusion list:
"Start.exe""License.exe""SandboxieBITS.exe""SandboxieCrypto.exe""SandboxieDcomLaunch.exe""SandboxieRpcSs.exe""SandboxieWUAU.exe""SbieCtrl.exe""SbieIni.exe""SbieSvc.exe"

Just wanted to confirm that this issue is solved now with 5.17

However, I seem to have a similar issue with the windows explorer, can anyone confirm or is it just me?

Hello Iggiz,

I am not seeing an issue when closing Windows Explorer in Windows 10. Does it happen on every Sandbox?
Do you have an Antivirus software installed?

It turned out it was the "sbiextra_x64.dll" causing the problem. This one http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... =22&t=4885

I guess it might be a problem with the dll itself and not sandboxie, but I'm not sure. I'm not experienced with debugging 64bit apps

It happens when I have a game open running GameGuard in the background. Upon upgrading to 5.17.3 while GameGuard was running I also received the error. The game process running GameGuard isn't sandboxed, but this will still happen when I launch something like a browser sandboxed. Also for whatever reason when running the game using GameGuard while having anything sandboxied it will forcefully close all sandboxied processes. Hopefully there is a way that you can fix and prevent these problems from happening. The game that has these issues is http://store.steampowered.com/app/390100/.

There have been a few windows10 updates and now on windows 10 pro insider preview 15042.rs2, running skype 7.29.0.102, windows live mail, windows defender, error message is SBIE2314 Cancelling process start.exe. before rs2 it was rs1, and 5.16 worked on it, now with the new update it stopped, I just tried the new beta 5.17.4, and no luck, hoping a new fix will be out soon, glad to hear the team is still here for us to help with things, you all doing a great job. cant wait to see the new fix.
