BSOD creating Sandboxes [CLOSED]

Post by Simplelife123abc » Mon Jun 19, 2017 8:41 pm

Hi,

I have been using sandboxie recently in a project of mine and in my project I began making individual Sandboxies having their own name, to explain what happens:

On making the Sandboxies and as you know I can then right click on the Sandboxie Control which is located in system tray and in doing so you’ll agree that I would see all my sandboxies and with a label to the right side of the list.

In any case as I proceed to make my sandboxies I get to making about 6 or 10 and then a BSOD - Nonpaged Area.

I tried to see if there was something else causing this and thus I began updating all drivers and also checked my ram with testing etc. No issues reported.

I proceeded again with Sandboxie and began the same again making sandboxies with their own name. Again the same BSOD - Nonpaged Area. I repeated this several times to see if indeed it was sandboxie and I have whittled it down to Sandboxie being the issue.

My system info:

Hello Simplelife123abc,

How are you creating the Sandboxes? Are you clicking on Sandboxie Control ---> Sandbox ---> New Sandbox?
Is your video card up-to-date? What are the drivers installed?
What is your Sandboxie version?
Do you have an antivirus software installed? If so, what's the name/version of it, and does the issue occur if you disable it?

Do you have any editions added to the configuration file (especially Windows Classes, such as " * " )?

Can you please provide a dump file? See here please:

Hi Barb@Invincea,

Thanks for reply, i have today contacted some experts in the field of system failures etc.

They did a test and found the crashes in minidump folder of which he then found that BSOD was caused by a printer software and driver that was then uninstalled and removed.

However it occurred again and removed another part of the printer driver in device manager.

I am now seeing if it happens again, i therefore cannot blame Sandboxie as yet but will try to recreate in the making of sandboxies again so as to see if BSOD happens.

Till then orevwa as the french would say. I will come back to this with update in due cause.
