You did the normal install to the USB stick (cause of the error if installed sandboxed), and run RF2Go sandboxed, and it stays recognized as the PRO version?
Yep, thats right, all i did was download the setup to my hd and installed it normally (unsandboxed) to my usb stick and when rf2go is started sandboxed it stays in pro mode. Also the sandbox is on my hd, havent tried it on my usb stick though, so im not sure how that'd work out. Another thing, maybe the problem is your stick (that sounds wrong)? Do you have a U3 enabled usb stick, cause i dont?

I have a U3 stick (SanDisk Cruzer Ti). I'm gonna wipe out the U3 portion today cause it's causing too many problems with some CD burning apps. I'll let you know if that makes a difference.

One last thing, you moved all your passcards etc. onto your USB stick along with RF2Go, right? Did you have to reactivate RF2Go at that point, or is it somehow using your RF license from your harddrive?

I have a non-U3 stick (Kingston DataTraveler 1GB).

Yeah i would do that cause ive heard alot of complaints about U3 causing problems with portable apps, for e.g at PortableApps if you look in the forum you'll see alot of ppl saying "Dont but U3 sticks, they cause problems". Anyways i hope wiping U3 out helps, if not, it'll atleast fix any other problems you've had with portable apps, for e.g as you said, cd burning apps.

Actually, suprisingly when i installed RF2GO on my stick, it moved everything to my usb stick for me......

Yeah, it'll copy your passcards and everything for you, but your license file *shouldn't* work. RF2Go is a separate license, not to mention the license file is based on your disk's volume ID. Either way, I want your magically working version LOL.

Got rid of U3 and still no love...

Well this sucks, i just tried removing any roboform related, and deleted all traces that were left of roboform (like in the registry) and then i tried re-installing rf2go onto my usb stick, and it is no longer the pro version? Well damn, i dont have a magic version anymore.

All i did was just recreated the license on my USB stick and put the license file in my profile folder and it is working as the pro version perfectly. it works as the pro in these combinations.

1 FF sandboxed, rf2go unsandboxed.
2 FF unsandboxed, rf2go sandboxed.
3 Both FF and RF2GO unsandboxed.
4 Both FF and RF2GO sandboxed.

The sandbox is on my hd and im using the install version of ff, which brings up my next question. Are you running a portable version of FF?

I'm using FF Portable. But I can't get it working right under any of those conditions, FF Portable or installed version. In fact I can't even get it to work right if both are sandboxed using the FREE version. RF2Go just isn't seeing the sandboxed browser. I did get RF2Go to stay as PRO by copying my installed license to the Portable data directory. On RF2Go startup, is says FREE, but after 1 attempted login it changes to PRO. There's an 'mru.rfo' file that is copied back to the portable data directory after first login, and I think it has something to do with the license file/volume id. Anyway, I still can't get RF2Go talking with any browser when it's sandboxed.

Maybe there's something in your INI file that's helping this process. Can you post it so I can take a look?

Also I'm using my portable Sandboxie. I wonder if that's an issue? This is so frustrating, I'm thinking about just using something else like KeePass w/ Auto-Type.

Do you have a portable or a fixed license?
