You locked the original topic so I couldn't reply. Just to let you know your workaround is NOT WORKING for me with IE in a sandbox with odd number of letters.

As I already noted elsewhere, the suggestion to try odd numbered boxes sounded familiar so I found an old thread which had someone detail the problem.

It is not box_name but FileRootPath where occurs the sporadic problem.
box_name of course dictates FileRootPath where %SANDBOX% is specified.

e.g.
fail FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\0
pass FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\01
pass FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\012
fail FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\0123
fail FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\01234
pass FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\012345
pass FileRootPath=C:\Sandbox\BUCKAROO\0123456
If an odd numbered box isn't fixing it for ya, try keeping the box name the same but just add a number after it and try again. I'd try that a few times by starting with 1 then 12 then 123 and if none of them work by then it may be a different issue. Going off that quote it looks like 2 number sets failed then 2 passed so hopefully up to 3 tries should find that spot where it works normally and whatever bug is occurring is avoided. Here's to hoping anyway...
