I would like to see a new option in
Recovery-> Quick Recovery-> Add File
Using the "Add File" would let you add a specific file to restore in a folder. Its pretty simple but would be very handy

When you have a directory with quite a few files, which most are uninteresting, except a few of them. The problem is most of the files in that folder update quite often and right now best way is to manually save the specific files.
But apparently its not that useful for the lot, and i guess that makes perfect sense. Was just an idea.

Why, I would also like this option, but then with wildcards

Mostly it is reuqired by advanced users who know filenames in advance.
e.g.
sand
*.asm
?edia
*.mp

Maybe you could just specify the particular file in File Access > Direct Access?

Maybe you could just specify the particular file in File Access > Direct Access?
tzuk, it a workaround but
(1) it uses the
original files?
(2) won't any exclusions, low-level and direct access compromise overall security and performance?

No effect on performanceno. As for security, that depends on the details. Some people set their favorite download folder as such a File Access exclusion. That's not really compromising security -- worst case scenario, you have to download some stuff again. On the other hand, you don't have to keep dealing with Quick or Immediate Recovery.

I find that many SandBoxie newbies don't know how to handle needed files.
As you already know Sandboxie Control also lists the contents showing virtualized changes so I suggest [Add File to QuickRecovery] or something similar to the item context menu.
Example: you're trying some new sandboxed game and want to savegame your progress. So every time you need to go the contents and Recover to Same Folder!!!. Yes, there's an option to Add Folder but what if you need that single file only?
Think that some people may find it useful also.
