As as I want to limit my kids internet usage need help in configuring Content Washer with SBIE, It doesn't block the internet when a browser is sandboxed.

Hello Nix,

Sandboxie allows you to block internet access by using this setting:
https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?Res ... s#internet

If you can provide more information as to how are you reproducing the problem with Content Washer, I will give it a go.
Need your OS , Antivirus, Content Washer and SBIE versions and repro steps.

Regards,
Barb.-

http://www.contentwasher.com/ is a parental control allowing me to block internet at certain time of day w/c also acts as a search filter. I tried its other features like self control which will block browser access to the internet for a certain amount of time(so I can focus on my work), it does work when browsers are not sandboxed but when a browser is sandboxed the browser gain access to the internet. I tried adding the program to Resource Access but nothing happened... Any other methods I can try?!

Hello Nix,

It looks like ContentWasher uses Windows profile accounts as users, thus when you launch something Sandboxed (as Anonymous user), it doesn't recognize it.
I made the devs aware and they will have a look.

Here's a thread regarding a different application that might work for you:

You may want to look at applocker as well, here's a thread with an example on how to set it up:
