If I knew, I wouldn't be asking you guys. What does it mean?

Gator, I am not a Chrome user but this message can be one of those SBIE messages that can be hidden and Chrome still works alright. The reason for the message might be that Chrome is checking for updates or that an update is ready. I wouldnt worry about it if Chrome works fine after hiding the message.

Thanks Bo. After I close it, nothing happens so I may just hide it next time.

I'm still getting it with Outlook 2013 on 8.1 Pro x 64.
Office 2013 apps don't sandbox in the App-V version, Office 2013 apps don't sandbox in protected mode (i.e. they come from the internet), Excel 2013 x 64 doesn't sandbox at all and now Outlook 2013 won't sandbox either.
I've mentioned it before but I really think it is time to be honest and add Office 2013 x 64 (or at least protected mode and excel) on Win 8.1 to the known conflicts page.
Office App-V is currently not supported in Sbie. However, regular Office 2013, (x86 & x64) should all be working in Sbie. If you are having problems with these, please start a new thread with a detailed description of the problems.
Thanks

This is becoming very annoying now. I keep getting the following error message very often when I try to open a page in a new tab in Opera:
Code: Select all
SBIE2335 Initialization failed for process opera.exe [55 / 8]
I was getting it before but not as often. I've tried locating the problem with both the Resource Access Monitor tool and Process Monitor but I really can't figure out exactly how the former works as its documentation is scarce at best.
OS is Windows 8.1 x64.

We are still working on a few initialization (hooking) errors.

Well, I can provide you with dump files and/or logs if you give me instructions how to obtain what you need.
Also I forgot to mention that I was talking about the latest stable Opera version - 26.

I enabled UAC recently and can confirm - chrome does not crash any longer with dropped rights enabled for chrome sandbox. Curt and UAC people are right. It's just stupid to disable uac. On Win7 it's not as annoying like it was on Vista. Also I spend a couple hours to reconfigure apps which stopped working with UAC enabled. Finally I think this change really can make your system security harden. I would still have everything running as admin if I don't start writing graduate work

Hi Nix
In the case of the other programs I have the vendors of the other software, played a big role. You might need to also put a bit of heat on Pedro.

Hi
A good idea unfortunately I don't know who he is, and I only got an account in this forum
... I'll just wait for the updates/compatibility or probably remove MBAE(when pro expires) and be contented with AG!

Hi Nix
Try Hitman Pro Alert. It is already compatible with Sandboxie. I am using it's latest release candidate along with the latest SBIE Beta. I takes a one line addition to SBIE.
Pete
PS. Personally I feel HMPA is a more fully featured program then MBAE, and the developers are more responsive
