Sandboxed Browser from unsandboxed application

Post by otzschepotz » Wed Sep 05, 2012 2:53 pm

Hello there,

I am wondering if it is possible to have the default browser (in my case Comodo Dragon, a Chromium build) opened sandboxed in every case. I am using Thunderbird Portable, which is not sandboxed (and should not be). I would like to have links I click on open in a sandoxed browser.
Currently, when I click on a link, it opens the default browser unsandboxed, no matter if a sandboxed instance is running or not.
I guess what I am looking for is some kind of option to "set sandboxie as the default browser".

Is this at all possible?

Thank you for any suggestions ;)

It is possible but you need to get the paid version for you to be able to force Dragon to open sandboxed automatically. Forcing programs to open sandboxed is one of the features that you ll get when you purchase a license. If you get one, you wont regret it.
