I've given direct access to Opera.exe to the bookmarks file as detailed under Help>About in Opera i.e. C:\Documenst and settings\......\opera6.adr but when I try and save a bookmark in the sandboxed Opera browser, I get a popup saying "Could not save file. C:\Documents and settings.....\opera6.adr. Try again?" . Naturally, pressing "Yes" doesn't solve it. I'm clearly overlooking something; any pointers would be musch appreciated.

'Opera Lover' reports a similar problem with Opera, although his setup may be different from yours.

Thank you. I've installed 3.35.32 and it does seem to be o.k. now. Having said that, since posting the snag, I searched and came to believe that the problem (not saving bookmarks) was an Opera one and not Sandboxie's doing. One of the pieces of advice I found was to delete the Opera bookmarks file (Opera6.adr - I renamed it) and let a new one form. So it happens I changed 2 things together and cannot tell you which solved it. (I should really have tested Opera outside the sandbox and seen if it still could not save the bookmarks to be sure.)Opera Lover wrote:tzuk's version 3.35.24 solved my problemTry to see if it works for you
Nevertheless, all seems to be well now.
Thanks again and apologies for the delay in replying.
