Windows mail: Having problems sending email (RESOLVED)

Post by Unknown_User_701 » Thu Aug 16, 2007 9:43 pm

With Windows Mail (in Vista) sandboxed, I can receive emails just fine. But when I go to send email, emails get stuck in the outbox. Then the program stops responding.

It hangs because of the way Windows Mail is renaming files. Let's see if update 3.00.17 solves your problem:

This version does permit Windows Mail to send mail more quickly. I am having a separate problem with Windows Mail which I will post in a different thread (not caused by the new version).
