5.09 Beta Available (latest version 5.10 RC)

Combined 32/64 installer:
http://www.sandboxie.com/SandboxieInstall.exe

Separate:
http://www.sandboxie.com/SandboxieInstall32.exe
http://www.sandboxie.com/SandboxieInstall64.exe

There are no code changes in 5.10 RC. We are releasing 5.10 quickly due to many users' concern about the confusing SHA1 certificate warnings issued by IE 11 and Windows 10 when installing Sandboxie 5.08.

Changes in 5.09.2
1) Fixed Win 10 FR Build 14271 (SBIE1113 Cannot find Nt system service, reason MASTER TABLE)

Changes in 5.09.1
1) Fixed Win 10 FR Build 14267 (SBIE1113 Cannot find Nt system service, reason MASTER TABLE)
2) Sandboxie binaries are now dual-signed (SHA1 & SHA256) to eliminate IE 11 and Win 10 certificate warnings.

The sbiectrl.exe is missing the SHA2 cert. It's present in the file download, but not on that file. That will be added. However, the SHA1 cert is valid.

Aside from the goof on one PC which I PM'd Craig about and I'm sure he will hold over my head for a while, no real problems here with the 5.10 RC.

I have noticed that some of the sandboxie processes like RpcSs, Dcom, along with dllhost seem to continue running, even after the leader process has exited, more often for me then previously and require me to manually terminate the sandbox. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

This is good info. Is it related to any particular software/browser? Tom would be interested In this as he's been working on those for several betas now

Hi Craig, I see dllhost run in my sandboxes whenever I open File explorer while running programs sandboxed, in my personal case specifically, when I upload a picture at Tiny pic or uploading a file at Virus total (using my browsers, Firefox and IE). If I open File explorer with other programs like Foxit, I also sse dllhost run. Same when I run Windows explorer in a sandbox.

In all cases for me, a second or two after dllhost runs, dllhhost terminates. So, probably Syrinx issue is not related to one particular program.
