Great Product! I have been using Sandboxie exclusively for my web browsing. It works great and have recommended it to friends and clients . I want to use a secure deletion utility (possibly bcwipe or tuneup shredder) for content cleaning as I've noticed all the deleted files are still on my hard drive after standard deletion. I've read the posts regarding procedures for configuring this but am at a loss. Could someone explain to me in laymens terms how to do this? Does it have to be done through the registry or can I just open up the secure deletion utility in the default box and run it there? I don't know much (anything really) about batch files and little about modifying the registry but I'm a quick study if somebody could simplify the procedures.
thanks
Dolphan
Secure Delete
Assuming you have a third-party secure delete utility that you like, you can do this quite easily.
First, terminate all processes running in sandboxes.
Then just use your preferred utility outside of Sandboxie to delete the top-level Sandboxie folder (for example: f\Sandboxie) just as you would securely delete any regular directory folder.
The top-level folder will be recreated the next time Sandboxie is called, so don't worry about deleting it.
