Yeah, I read the post above me right after writing my post. I can confirm that 368.81 just works. No need for a workaround or anything.6321678206 wrote:368.81 is the last driver working for me.Mud wrote:Nope, switching Physx to CPU didn't do the trick.
I have an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660. I tried also with the lastest non-beta Nvidia Driver, version 373.06
What's the driver version I should roll-back to in order for the time being?
I noticed this issue last August http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 11&t=23283

Has anyone tried resource access monitor to see what else needs to pass through in the newer drivers?

I'm afraid it is much more complicated than just opening things. We are still working on the code.6321678206 wrote:Has anyone tried resource access monitor to see what else needs to pass through in the newer drivers?

Re: nVidia drivers update v372.54 [DirectX]
I'm going to revert my nVidia drivers to 368.81 but it just seems odd to me that it will work with a driver rollback which would indicate to me the problem is incompatibility with the driver, not the OS.
Re: nVidia drivers update v372.54 [DirectX]
Same error but with AMD and 7870. Most games I run inside the box works but fraps gives me a D3D dx9 error. Another error from a game "Failed to initialize Direct3D. InitializeEngineGraphics failed" and something about dx9.
This started to happen a few weeks or so ago when they updated the video drivers, or rather *forced* it.

Re: nVidia drivers update v372.54 [DirectX]
Im not sure whats going on here...I recently installed the latest (paid) sbie, only sandboxing my browsers and my d/l folder. I have the latest nvidia driver running on win10 ann. update along with a gtx 980 card.
I DO NOT have any issues with directx...I run steam and play stand alone games....
I dont have much experience with sandboxie, I use Firejail w/my linux OS...all good here (so far)

Re: nVidia drivers update v372.54 [DirectX]
Issue still persists. Fresh install of Windows 10 pro. Latest drivers of everything. I used to use Sandboxie only for Stronghold Kingdoms and since August Sandboxie is useless for me.
i7 2600k @ 4.7Ghz
16gb ddr3 1600
MSI 1060 6gb OC'd Geforce Game Ready Driver 375.86
128gb ssd
1tb hdd
Without Sandboxie game opens fine. With sandboxie problem with directx just like a few months ago. Hope this is fixed soon as I doubt the devs at Firefly studios will release a mobile version of stronghold kingdoms any time soon like they said they would.

Re: nVidia drivers update v372.54 [DirectX]
I reported this back in August http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 11&t=23283
368.81 is the last nvidia driver which worked for me (as in CS:GO actually loads up and could play). Any higher driver version and the process appears in the sandbox but nothing happens, nothing appears.
However, something with the new steam client update causes steam client bootstrapper to have high CPU usage on the 2nd instance onwards.
GTX 980 Ti Windows 10 x64 latest updates.

Can confirm. 368.81 works flawlessly with TF2. Thank you.6321678206 wrote: 368.81 is the last nvidia driver which worked for me (as in CS:GO actually loads up and could play). Any higher driver version and the process appears in the sandbox but nothing happens, nothing appears.
