I have reccomended Sandboxie to several of my friends. I think it is a phenomenal tool. My only worry is that if it becomes "mainstream", then the hackers are going to start targeting it.
So in addition to being a great tool (the best in my security suite), part of the appeal of the program to me is that it is not mainstream yet and probably not being targeted by hackers.
I am not a security expert, but I would think that Hackers and malware writers would try to get the most bang for their buck by targeting the most popular programs from the most popular vendors (Microsoft, McAffee, Norton, Webroot,etc.).
So as much as I feel that this program should be on everyone's PC, part of me doesn't want to see that.

By being in Security these so called bad guys do know about it.
They really hate it because of the Protection it provides.
From listening to some of big the bad guys they Hate Firefox plus Sandboxie.
Really most hackers get by by useing the hidden tools on Firefox.
Which fireFox has right now in a Sandbox tools thier checking from one group that i belong to for your Protection.
I Took sandboxie on a trip last week where no-body dares to go and did'nt get a thing Sandboxie came through the test with flying colorers.
I will say some bad guys are useing it now.
This tool is great for testing virus&Trojans which i also use it for.

read http://sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=1354
I use sandboxie every single solitary day and I do NOT surf with out IT and my anonymous VPN, usually with Opera.
I've tried tons of others, so yeah, I'm sold on sandboxie. If tzuk starts offering affiliate/referal fees, I'm in, and I'll say I was before this.
