Kaspersky must be removed. It is not compatible with SBIE. Read the Known Conflicts here: http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?KnownConflicts
Edge is not supported as well.

Have you tried the Opera browser as an alternative? This seems to run well with KIS and Sandboxie on Windows 10 even though other browsers have problems.juan-sonera wrote:I'm having the same exact problem, here's my data:

SBIE will still not work. KIS must be removed.

Re: SBIE2224 Sandboxed program has crashed: iexplore.exe
Your proposed solution is to remove a vital layer of security, from my system, in order to run Sandboxie? Really? I hope you jest.
Incompatibility issues arise all the time, especially with a entirely new rewrites like Windows 10, but they should be addressed and eventually resolved. I will just have to hold off in purchasing any licenses for Sandboxie until the developers resolve the issue and release a working, stable product.

Juan, if you get used to using programs that get along with Sandboxie, most programs that you ll run sandboxed will run great sandboxed, you ll enjoy using Sandboxie and best of all, you wont have to open holes in SBIE. For Sandboxie to get along with KIS, a weaker SBIE would be required.juan-sonera wrote:Your proposed solution is to remove a vital layer of security, from my system, in order to run Sandboxie? To get programs like KIS to work with SBIE, its likely a hole as large as the Grand Canyon would have to be open in Sandboxie. In my opinion, doing that would be a bad idea, don't you think? We cant have it both ways. You have to choose between a strong SBIE and a weaker watered down version of it. There is no way around that, to get Kaspersky working fine with SBIE, you need the watered down version.
About Sandboxie not being a "working, stable product"...I tell you, I run sandboxed my browsers, PDF readers, EMail clients, Video players, Office files, WinRar, 7Zip, HJ Split, Windows explorer, Download folders, USB drives and whatever else I am forgetting to mention, and all for the most part, run great sandboxed (XP and W7). Things are not perfect but they almost are. The reason for that is because I follow what I wrote in the first statement of my post.
