Sandboxie no longer works

I've been trying to deal with this problem for the past two weeks.

I've been using SB for several years now. After a Windows 7 update 2.5 weeks ago, the program no longer works. I tried uninstalling, re-installing, nothing works. The pop-up error windows are annoying.

I tried installing SP 1, but after wasting about 4 hours on 2 different attempts, the SP will not install.

I see this is a known problem.

Why no fix?
