Thanks for getting it put right, Chris. Most appreciated.chrisc@invincea wrote:Thank you, Sandboxie community, for jumping in this.
I referenced the Licensing FAQ on the website, which does not fully and properly reflect what the End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) states. The EULA is what governs the license terms, as Buster quoted previously.
I'll update the FAQ to reflect this. Note that it applies for the original Lifetime licenses, plus those in our recent giveaway and special offer. The Author grants You a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-
transferable license to access, install, download, copy the
Software, or otherwise benefit from using the functionality of
the Software, on any number of computers you own, provided that
You adhere to all of the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
This Agreement is an express limited use license and not an
assignment, sale, or other transfer of the Software or any
Intellectual Property Rights of the Author.

Re: Lifetime License doubt
Just want to know if reinstalling and activating Sandboxie mutliple times on the same PC hardware(often format,clean-install the OS) contribute to mutitple activations for the same lifetime license key.Is there any limitation on activation count on re-activating Sandboxie on the same PC hardware?chrisc@invincea wrote: We do see lifetime keys with thousands of activations -- hardly for personal use --but that's to look at for another day.
Thank you all!

also i won't be able to buy it till 16th may.
is there any other coupon or promotion for same thing ? which has longer time to apply?
i would buy that invicea, BUT it doesnt support multiple sandboxes at same time. i dont know why !
therefore i must buy older and i think no more developing software as sandboxie is !
it is unfair situation to customer
Re: Lifetime License doubt
Master_Blaster, you refer to different questions:
The answer is yes - it is really lifetime. You can also see it in the order form whose link you posted yourself: Under the product name ("Sandboxie - Personal License") it says: "Lifetime License".
Your second + third question is:
The important part are the words "on any number of computers you own".
So you also need not worry about this:
Your next question is again something different:
And finally:
The answer was given by chrisc@invincea in the posting linked by Bo.Master_Blaster wrote: but i need to know it is really lifetime and not 1 year

Your second + third question is:
The answer to both questions is yes (if with "no matter what" you mean the use on more than one of your own PCs). That you can use it on any PC you own is not only (indirectly) part of the statement of chrisc@invincea. It is the consequence of the End User License Agreement (EULA) (quoted also by chrisc@invincea in his above posting). The EULA says:Master_Blaster wrote: i can use it on more than one pc at the same time ? (for my need)

So you also need not worry about this:
Yes, that's also what chrisc@invincea mentioned. But this refers to the future. Maybe in the future they will change their terms (for future customers). But if you buy your license now, the relevant terms are the one which apply to your purchase.Master_Blaster wrote: yes but someone told that they will be solving it, those mass illegal licensing.
Your next question is again something different:
The support of multiple sandboxes (using them at the same time) is a feature exclusively of the paid version (1 year license or lifetime license [plus the 10 winners of a lifetime license]). So of course it will not work for you if you use only the free version. You will benefit from this feature only after buying a license.Master_Blaster wrote: i would buy that invicea, BUT it doesnt support multiple sandboxes at same time. i dont know why !

And finally:
This is something that only the staff of Invincea can tell you. But as originally you were interested in buying until May 16th: 3 days remain for you to buy.Master_Blaster wrote: also i won't be able to buy it till 16th may.

i said like: i would buy invicea, if it would support multiple sandboxies at same time. but this feature has only sandboxie.
and i really need to know, if developers will put all their energy/effort to improve invicea and stop deving sandboxie or how is it ?
i wanted to point out on thing, that i have no choice and buy that old not developing sandboxie, only because it supports multiple sandboxies and invicea doesnt !
may i expect multiple sandboxes as same time in invicea too ?
may i expect other promotion for sandblxie license, because probably i wont be able to buy it now !!
Re: Lifetime License doubt
First: Invincea is the name of the company, not of a product.Master_Blaster wrote:no, he was wrong in one thing

Second: I think the product you are talking about is "FreeSpace", which has a different use than Sandboxie.
I would say Invincea will continue developing Sandboxie because it has a bigger market than FreeSpace.

Re: Lifetime License doubt
We have two markets that we're supporting at Invincea.
Sandboxie is being supported and enhanced to serve the consumer market. Sandboxie has capabilities that are not available in the Invincea FreeSpace product that were developed specifically by the original Sandboxie author (Ronen) to support the use cases of consumers. (I use Sandboxie at home on multiple computers!)
Invincea, the company, and its products are developed for the business market specifically for malware prevention of advanced threats that uniquely target business customers. This market has unique requirements and capabilities that are available in FreeSpace and other Invincea products which are not available in Sandboxie.
Think of this like Honda. Honda creates small cars and motorcycles for consumers, and creates vans and trucks (and other industrial equipment) for businesses. Honda makes vehicles in both markets that get you from point A to point B, but each vehicle is specifically built for the needs of the audience.
(If anyone has a better example, please post!)

Hi, do we have until the end of tomorrow to get this lifetime license, or does the store link expire earlier?
