Does Steam and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt work in a sandbox in the latest version of Sandboxie please?

Unknown. We know that the Steam client and a few games for which we had in our personal library to test work. Some did not. If it's a free game, we can try and test it.

I ran into some issues with The Witcher 3 though that seemed to be more related to my version - which wasn't Steam. It was GoG and the galaxy beta hasn't been playing well with sbie, though it appears to be galaxy issues. With my version I found renaming the galaxy.dll so it wouldn't be loaded created a pop up alert when starting witcher 3 but after that it runs fine in sandboxie. I'd guess the steam version wouldn't have galaxy or the troublesome dll and thus should work without issue.

Yes, the GoG Galaxy Beta doesn't play well w/ SBIE.

Current version of GOG Galaxy does work. You have to "force" GOG Program folder so that it works correctly within a SB. Thus, you will need a paid version of SBIE.
