Internet Explorer 7 Favorites

If you reorgnize Favorites in a sanboxed IE7 the changes are not reconzied by Sanboxie, however, if you add a new link to Favorites in a sandboxed IE7 the new link IS reconized by Sandboxie.

Please note: I HAVE placed "C:\Documents and Settings\[my login user name]\Favorites" in the Sanboxie - Recovery - Quick Recovery

Yep. Quick Recovery is just about adding new stuff. If you want to reorganize favorites, you can start a regular IE to do it.

Or you can use Sandbox Settings > Applications > Web Browser to allow IE full access to its favorites folder, bypassing Sandboxie for that particular folder.

Sad to say I did as you instructed and it still did save the reordering of favorites. Oh well. . . will figure out a work arround for this as I very seldon use IE, mostly FireFox

The checkmark option for Favorites worked after I toggled it off, closed sandbox, reopened sandbox, toggled it on, closed sandbox, then reopened it. I did notice a few posting about COMODO. I do use COMODO and have tweeked it so that very few application have much in the way of rights, so this may be where the proble came from as sometimes COMODO warning prompts get delayed.... But I did assign Sandboxie Windows System rights in COMMODO (i.e. full privlages)

PS I am finding Sandboxie to be a great program and a huge improvement for Internet saftey!

Maybe you need to delete the sandbox to make it notice the changes to FAvorites outside the sandbox.
