feedback need on why update

running registered version 2.22 on w2ksp4 since jan 2006. seems to run aok 5x5. months ago, I tried update to 2.25 & then 2.27 (looking at my notes) and ran into various problems & reinstalled 2.22. not sure, but I suspect there may have been some sort of conflict issue with DiamondCS Process Guard(?) I recently uninstalled PG for unrelated reasons, and I'm considering installing 2.64, so the question is (assuming the installation is smooth and 2.64 runs aok): is 2.64 better than 2.22? more secure? obviously Ron is working to improve sandboxie, so I'm weighing the problems I had in the past with 2.25 & 2.27 (maybe they were beta?) against advantages, if any, of more current 2.64. I just went thru an unexpected one week battle with this box resolving a conflict, and I'm not in the mood to do anything that'll produce a problem. Can I expect problem-free 2.64 (I saw some problem reports) and why/how is 2.64 better than 2.22?? thanks!

since my last, I updated from 2.22 to 2.64 and no apparent problems, so whatever was causing me problems with 2.25 and 2.27 is gone and not causing problems with 2.64. in fact, I'm sandboxied right now even as I keystroke :lol:
