Office 2013 H&B not running on Windows 10

SBIE version 5.06
Fresh installation of Windows 10
EMET 5.2
Office 2013 H&B (installed from ISO)

The process just seems to just end without ever starting. Any ideas?

First, Disable EMET. This can cause compatibility issues w/ SBIE. (see supported A/V here http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 11&t=21539 )

2nd, make sure you are not installing Office 2013 within a sandbox. 2013 should be installed on your host, then "Run as sandboxed."

Office 2013 version that you may using might be employing "click to run.."... Even from an ISO install, you would need to determine if that is the case or not via your registry.....

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{90150000-008F-0000-1000-0000000FF1CE}

If this key exists, the Office was installed using the Click-to-Run method & is not supported at this time w/ SBIE.

It seems as if all media for Office 2013 H&B is click to run. Only office professional has the legacy installer.... Well this sucks.

Support for Click to Run and Office365/Office 2016 is coming. I just can't quote you a time/date.

I'm more upset with Microsoft and their crappy click to run implementation. I've learned click to run doesn't let you deploy group policy either. Microsoft has really let things go down hill.

Are you actively trying to resolve the "click to run" problem, or is it just not going to be possible to sandbox eg Office 365?

Yes, It functions in Invincea products. That just needs to be ported over to SBIE....not to make that sound simple..lol Just no ETA as of yet.

any update on support for outlook 2013 or office 2013 product in general.
(note i'm actually using windows 8.2 or 8.1 64 bit.

I've only just purchased your product and first thing i did was sandbox browser (worked awesomely) and emails (having no luck at all).

SBIE at this time still does not support Click to Run. It may by the end of the year.

Hopefully, before that actually. The Chrome random crashes in Win 10 (loader, timing..etc.) issue is a pretty involved dev issue. Once that's totally resolved (soon) the Office issue is next. I'd like to issue a beta/update to include ALL of that.

also has anyone set up Nuance Pdf Pro to work with sanboxie before?
it crashes for me everytime.

what details should i report and what part of this forum do i report it too,
too see if someone has a fix / recomended configuration for it?
(sorry i'm a beginner)

You can post the problem right here in the forum, just create a new thread. There are many, may PDF viewers (and the like) that do work., CutePDF is one of them. I haven't tested Nuance Pro. But I'm getting ready to try Nuance Power PDF to see.

It's does not Appear that NuancePDF Pro works with SBIE. There are many many other PDF viewers you can choose from however. a search in the forum will reveal many.
