Opera 36 "Launcher.exe" not working (only user account)

I have had no problems with Opera and Sandboxie in the past , i noticed Sandboxie's latest version 5.10 works fine when i run it in my administrator account but in user account when trying to run my browser in Sandboxie i keep getting a Sandboxie popup saying error 2212 (email program "launcher. exe" is not configured to run under Sandboxie .

Here's the thing , i don't use any e mail client i only have 1 email account that is gmail and it is not configured in the system at all .

Any way i can get rid of this message , like i said happens only in "user" account.

If I was you, I would check what launcher.exe is, to which program it belongs. If Opera runs well without allowing launcher.exe to run, you can hide the message.

This only happens in my "user" account , i don't get this message in my Admin account , i would prefer to run Sandboxie with "user" rights and no Admin rights.

Maybe Opera has different versions like Google does. Google has a version for one user account (admin not needed) and another for "all user" accounts, thus that one needs Admin Rights.

Opera forum suggests it could be a stuck update, and to run it "as admin" to confirm all updates are installed.

Launcher.exe has been renamed to (replaced by) Opera.exe in v33. If you use this version use Opera.exe.

Ok , what i had to do was reinstall the latest Opera 36 and i had to put a "checkmark" in the "for current user" and not all users box and now Sandboxie works in my "user account".


When logging out of "user" account and going into my "admin" account i had to reinstall Opera 36 again and check the "for current user" box in that also and now i can use Sandboxie in both accounts separately .


In the past one install of Sandboxie and checking the "for all users" box in the "admin" account worked for both accounts but not the latest Opera versions and i do not know if older versions are security risks.


Sandboxie version is 5.10
