Re: Multi-process Firefox 51 - Blank pages
Hi all,
same issue here after update to FFX v51.0 x64. (Win 10 x64, SBIE 5.16 x64, Win Defender & EMET 5.5...)
I also noticed that the NoScript-Menu is truncated when running FFX in SBIE. But the workaround setting sandbox to 0 works for me, so best luck finding a fix guys.
And thank you very much for your effort!

Update: Changing the security.sandbox to 0 in about:config fixed it! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Disabling the multiprocess mode by changing both "browser.tabs.remote.autostart" and "browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2"wutsup88 wrote:Update: Changing the security.sandbox to 0 in about:config fixed it! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
to FALSE also fixes the problem.
So it seems to be related to both the multiproces/e10s mode AND Firefox's content sandbox.
PS: And while we're at it, please kindly allow me to draw the attention back to this post:
http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 15#p125115
Bottom line: Sandboxie + FFX multiprocess also seems to be detrimental to the font antialiasing within FFX.

Hi,
Sanboxie doesn't work correctly with firefox after the update to 51.0.1 version. All it does it to change the title of the window to the given URL. It connects to the page, but doesn't show any contents of the page. Please look into the problem as soon as possible.

Instead of workaround we would like to know ETA of fixing the blank pages issue. It's been enough time for a fix since e10s has been implemented.

Hello Dun,
The devs are working on fixing this issue, don't have an exact ETA.
Once a solution is found, it will be communicated in the forum (and most likely, a new beta will be released along with it).

Re: Multi-process Firefox 51 - Blank pages
Hi folks,
I had the same issue: Upgraded Firefox to 51.0.1 (32-bit) and the pages loaded blank when using Sandboxie.
As per previous workaround, changing the Firefox security.sandbox.content.level to 0 resolves the issue.
For other greenhorns, to use this workaround:
Type "about:config" into the Firefox addressbar
Accept the risk.
Search for security.sandbox.content.level
Double click and change to 0
Thanks for many years of trouble free browsing with Sandboxie!

Blank Page in Firefox in Sandboxie
Hi, I'm using Windows 10 Pro 64bit with Sandboxie 5.16 64bit, Firefox 51.0.1 64bit & Avast 12.3.2280. My problem is with Firefox, in that there was an update for it, so I opened it up outside the sandbox and did the update, then Firefox restarted and I thought it had finished updating so I closed it, deleted the sandbox and opened it in Sandboxie. Then it did some further updating inside the sandbox and I closed and restarted Firefox inside the sandbox, now all I get when I open Firefox is a blank page. I tried uninstalling Sandboxie & Firefox, fully deleting the program folder and sandbox folder at C:\Sandbox and restarting then re-installing Sandboxie & Firefox, but the same blank page problem keeps occurring. I've also had a problem with Firefox previously in that in Sandboxie, Firefox's tabs are white, but so is the text on them. Firefox opens correctly outside the sandbox and none of these problems occurr there.

Firefox 51.0.1 slow and cannot be used correctly
After I install it (inside the SB), the browser become slow almost not usable.
I have other (older) Firefox inside other sandboxed enviroumnet and I am afraid to destroy them if I update there.
Someone can help?

Re: Firefox 51.0.1 slow and cannot be used correctly
You might want to try disabling Multi process in Firefox. Open about:config and change preference "browser.tabs.remote.autostart" to false.

I have the same problem on 64bit Windows 10. It has been working fine untill last night, Firefox now slow and unuseable in Sandboxie OK outside Sandbox. Tried re-installing still the same.

Today, Firefox would not display web pages in SBIE (on my Windows 10 laptop). Thankfully, I soon found this thread and changed security.sandbox.content.level to zero and that solved the problem.
Many thanks.
