Chrome 38 has an entirely new set of issues. Let's get 37 working first.

No, just stick with that. You are the 2nd user (Dun is the other) that has had Chrome 37-64 crashes due to dropped rights. So obviously there is more investigation required.
Same problem for me. Same answer. Unchecking Drop Rights works.
We are gathering steam.

OS: Windows 8.1
Sandboxie: Version 4.13.3 beta (64 bit)
Browser: Chrome Version 38.0.2125.24 beta-m (64-bit)

Pages do not load and extensions become unresponsive when running Chrome 64 bit inside Sandboxie 4.13.3 64 bit.

Drop Rights has been deselected but the outcome remains the same.

Is there an ETA for a resolution for this is issue?

Many thanks in advance,
Duke

Sure.
"Memory could not be read" error doesn't appear always when tabs crash. I've noticed it's possible to load some sites with dropped rights enabled:
http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/
http://www.guimp.com/
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/257 ... sblock.txt
etc.

For those still having problems with Chrome 37, try starting chrome with the "--no-sandbox" command line option.

I'm getting the same exact error.

I'm on Chrome 37.0.2062.103 m, Sandboxie 64-bit 4.12, Win 7 x64 SP1. I'm also using EMET and bitdefender free. I disabled the real time protection of bitdefender, and unchecked all application options for chrome in EMET... but that had no effect.

The no--sandbox flag prevented chrome from opening in sandboxie completely, and the process just ended instead.

Disabling all extensions also had no effect.

Removing drop my rights fixed the issue, although I'd prefer to use it if possible.

With a more recent edition of chrome you need to allow crash records by going to settings/privacy and enabling: Instantly deliver utilization research and accident reviews to Search engines. After that you can examine your accident records here: chrome://crashes/

In case you don't see this post on the Beta thread:
Curt@invincea wrote:I have posted a 4.13.5 Alpha version to see if this fixes all Chrome 37 crashes/hangs in the field. If you are having problems specifically with Chrome 37, please try these Alphas and report back here. These should work with dropped rights enabled or disabled.

NOTE: This fix is only for Chrome 37. Chrome 38 & 39 have different, but related issues.

I get this error with Chrome and the latest beta you posted in this thread:

cmd.exe - DLL Initialization Failed
Initialization of the dynamic link library
C:\Program <file://C:/Program>Files\Sandboxie\32\SbieDll.dll <file://Files/Sandboxie/32/SbieDll.dll> failed. The process is terminating
abnormally.

Does this happen when you are running Flash?

I get the same thing when I try to play a Flash video. Everything still works, however. It just puts up this annoying dialog box.

The problem seems to be with the Flash Chrome plugin. To workaround this problem:
1) Install Flash separately (standalone).
2) Disable the Chrome Flash plugin in chrome://plugins

I disabled Flash in Chrome and have the standalone player installed.

Having issues at some pages.
Error: You need to download the latest version of flash player to use this player

To help in the process, I am reporting that installing "SandboxieInstall64-413-5.exe" resolved the Chrome crashing I was getting on "Version 37.0.2062.124 m (64-bit)" on Win7 64bit.

My issue was crashing extensions (even though I was pointing to a chrome.exe with --incognito flag), followed by the "Aw, Snap" message. Drop Rights was already unchecked.
