Delete Sandbox fails?
I sometimes get a message that "Delete Sandbox DefaultBox: delete command failed". It continues with more information and ends with an indication that the system cannot find the file specified. The last time this happened was after I executed "Terminate All Programs".

Does it happen in a new Sandbox with default settings?
Was there anything else (from the Sandbox) open at the time you were trying to delete the contents?

Sometimes we get that message. It should be rare. Is usually caused by your AV or other security programs. Rebooting the PC, is the solution. The Windows version: Windows 10 Pro Creators edition
Sandboxie version 5.20/5.21 beta (registered)
Browser: Opera v. 47.0.2631.3
Antivirus: Bitdefender Total Security 2018
VodooShield 3.59b
Hitmanpro Alert
A few weeks ago I had a Default sandbox which I later deleted. A new Default sandbox was then automatically created. After that I created other sanboxes and I renamed the default sandbox to xDefault. Please note that the message that I mentioned earlier refers to "Default" sandbox, not the new name, that is xDefault.
The problem arose quite recently, after I had already created the other sandboxes and possibly (I do not remember for sure) before I renamed the Default sandbox. It's an intermittent problem: It doesn't always happen when I terminate programs.

As Bo suggested, your Antivirus / Security software might be the reason for your issue.
Try disabling one at a time and test Sandboxie for a while, see if anything changes.
Have you tried this for BitDefender?:
Open Sandboxie Control --> Configure --> Edit configuration
Paste the following at the end of [GlobalSettings]
WriteFilePath=C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\*

Thank you Barb. As I wrote earlier, the problem is not continuous and therefore I cannot reproduce it at will. I already had the suggested setting in the configuration almost exactly as you suggest. It was missing the asterisk at the end. I have changed it accordingly. I'll monitor the situation and hopefully the next time it occurs (if it reoccurs) I'll try and remember what were the circumstances and report back.
