cannot recover firefox bookmarks

Hi there,
When I go to recover firefox bookmarks it says there are no files to recover, but off course, there is.
Could you fix this?
I would pay for lifetime registration if I can get sandboxie working the way it is designed to.

Thank you, I love the program. (I did read in the forum that you are not a big firefox user, that is cool, I understand it is a big job to cover all areas. I like to erase my sandbox often, so I like to be able to recover everything before I do)

Check the Configuration menu, Sandbox settings sub menu, Set Automatic Clean-Up Options window. Do you have Firefox Profiles checked?

I tried that. I do get the profiles folder, but that doesn't give me access to indvidual bookmarks the way it does for Explorer. Am I missing something?

The Quick Recover works on files, and Firefox stores its bookmarks in a single file -- bookmarks.html.

I think someone ought to create a Firefox extension that stores bookmarks as IE favorites.

In any case, there is an alternative in Sandboxie to work around that. Check out the File Copy Options window (in Sandboxie). The last checkbox should let the sandboxed Firefox record its bookmarks in the permanent bookmarks file, outside the sandbox.
