At installation, Sandboxie uses the HD that contains the system (normally C . Is it possible to install it on a different HD (ie. D which does not contain SO? Thanks.

Hello Extimateur ,
When running the Sandboxie installer, you can choose where to install it to. You are be presented with the "Choose Install Location" window, and a "Destination Folder" section in which you can make your desired changes.
You can also select a different drive to store your Sandboxes:
