Hi,
I am running SB 5.06 on Win 7 with dedicated sandboxes. All browsers are running sandboxed by default .I had no problems this morning but a few hours later when running Chrome I am only getting Chrome's "Ah, Snap" error message. I have checked and using Chrome sandboxed ( any of my sandboxes) I am not getting any outside connection, running Chrome unsandboxed it works fine. All other browsers work fine with Sandboxie. Has anything changed in the last few hours, some setting I need to change specific to chrome?

Re: No Internet with SB
Try this, uncheck the case "Drop rights from Administrators and Power Users groups"
Windows 8.1 x64/x86 EN | Sandboxie latest beta or stable | All software latest versions unless stated otherwise

Mr X, no dice - still the same.
I noticed earlier today at a different pc also running with SB that Chrome must have updated as I got some error message (though different). I have this from time to time, check my program folder and notice that I have a chrome.exe and a new_chrome.exe file in there. I delete the old chrome file, rename the new file to just chrome.exe and that takes care of the matter. But on my main/current pc now, there is only one chrome.exe file in the usual folder unless the update that google determines to make behind my back put the new exe.file somewhere else.

Re: No Internet with SB in Chrome
Hi, I have a similar problem. I have been using chrome in SB for a long time now but suddenly it isn't working. Everytime I try to run chrome in SB it opens up but then after anything I click it immediately closes. I have tried turning off zone alarm and turning off panda and that doesn't work. I tried a fresh re-install and that doesn't work. I am running on windows8.1 64 bit. Also the other weird thing is when I try to run firefox in SB it shows firefox.exe in the programs list of running programs in SB but then the border around the browser is not like a sandboxed one. Any ideas?
Re: No Internet with SB in Chrome
seems the problem went away with updating SB to the current version 5.1

Zone alarm isn't supported. http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?KnownConflictsuser1234987 wrote:Hi, I have a similar problem. Usually, deleting the contents of your SB solves most issues.

Re: No Internet with SB in Chrome
Nothing in 5.10 would have affected the issues you had. But glad it's working. The only fix for the last few updates directly related to Windows 10 Insider Preview issue. Nothing for 7, 8.1 etc.mouse wrote:seems the problem went away with updating SB to the current version 5.1
