Program Sandboxie to use a secondary browser

Hi

My deafult browser is Chrome but for online banking and shopping I prefer
and have to use IE 10.

So, whenever I have to visit my bank site or buy something online I first switch the
default browser to IE, and Sandboxie follows. And when I've finished I program
Chrome as the default browser again.

Is there a way to avoid that change of default browsers? May I program Sandboxie
to be used exclusively by IE? In fact, I do not need Sandboxie with Chrome.

Hey Sylvio. If you switch your default browser from Chrome to IE, Internet Explorer will run sandboxed instead of Chrome when you click on the SandboxedWebBrowser icon in your desktop. You can also run IE sandboxed by right clicking the IE entry in your Start menu and choosing Run sandboxed, then select DefaultBox and click OK. Since you don't want to run Chrome sandboxed, if I was you I would switch default browsers.

You can also create a sandboxed shortcut for IE and place it on your desktop. Go to Sandboxie control>Configure>Windows Shell Integration, click "Add shortcut icons", select DefaultBox, click OK, look for Internet Explorer in one of the menus and click on it. Afterward, you ll find the sandboxed IE shortcut in your desktop. If you click on that icon, IE will run sandboxed.
