Yes, there were some things changed from .3 to .4. Nice work whatever ya'll did between .07.2 and .07.3 but I sure wish it was in the notes someplace or I would have installed it asap...!

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.4)
I upgraded from 5.06 to fix this issue:
"Fixes in 5.07.2
1) More improvements to application startup. SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (-1) in Win 10 browser startup no longer occurs in our testing."
...However I received the error message yesterday. So it is not completely fixed (although it seems to occur less often).
I've also noticed that the "lag" that is mentioned in the post above this one is generally improved but occasionally reappears also.

Depends on the OS...and other factors.hottroc wrote:I upgraded from 5.06 to fix this issue:

1) Netbeans 8.1 64 bit installed inside sandbox even not starting. Just disappear from the list of processes.
2) Also exist issue with exit from applications.
For example Blizzard games and thier launcher never properly exit.
3) If you start explorer inside sandbox and start to copy from one folder to another something big . Progress window never appear and not possible to understand is copy finished completely or not.

1. Netbeans, being a Java SDK may or may nor work in SBIE.C3CvUJugtI3eMv wrote:1) Netbeans 8.1 64 bit installed inside sandbox even not starting. Just disappear from the list of processes.

2. Games, Steam does work, Blizzard has not been tested as much and may not work. Have you installed it directly on your host and then run as sandbox.
3. Not sure if I understand.

There will be a new SHA cert for Win 7 through 10. XP will be stuck with a SHA1 cert. XP limitation. SHA1 certs are valid, it's just certain browsers are now instructed to flag them....IE....Mozilla has rescinded that until July.APMichael wrote:Discussed on the previous page already: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/view ... 35#p117524RonR wrote:Getting "The signature of this program is corrupt or invalid" on all three 5.07.5 files on repeated downloads.

If possible, we'd like you to remove 5.06 and revert back to 5.07.2. We're curious about something. Yes, that rcpss-1 can still exist, we want to see if changes after .2 may have made it worse (Win10). There is also a VERY good chance it's just hardware on your machine, as dependcy of hardware is also a factor.
Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.5)
What does it mean for the Sandboxie user running apps listed in [Template_KnownConflicts] .....for example....Fixes in 5.07.5
1) Added a few more apps to the known conflicts list in templates.ini
What does Tmpl.Entry=Blue Ridge Networks AppGuard | {2C9B1E69-DD05-40F5-8378-056A117028F9} mean for AppGuard user...?
What does Tmpl.Entry=Invincea | {E2CAA395-66B3-4772-85E3-6134DBAB244E} mean for Sandboxie user..?

Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.5)
Updated to .5, no new issues noticed. /thumbsup
I used to play Blizz's WoW and D3 inside SBIE without issues, the launcher itself was VERY problematic however. I ended up keeping battle.net installed on my gaming OS and updating from there when needed and using the -launcher option (or something like that I think) when I wanted to load either game via a shortcut on the general use OS that has SBIE. I haven't messed with either of them for many months now...
@BJM the AppGuard template is likely something that just hasn't been updated lately. To my knowledge there's not a real conflict with it, just perhaps a few steps needed to get AppGuard to play nicely with the default (C:\Sandbox) folder and app launches there. That info can be found on BRN's pages.
As for the Invincea conflict notice, it's not far reaching to think that the corporate version might conflict with SBIE, since to a certain point, they do share the same code and try to do similar things. It's likely just there 'in case' so that if a user on a corporate machine (who may or may not know they are protected by a similar product) won't expect SBIE to function properly alongside the other version. Pure guesswork but I'm sure craig or curt will be able to give you a better answer either way.

2. Nope i not tell that it not work. issue happens when you finished to play and close all applications inside sandbox. For example when i played in Diablo and closed Diablo and Blizzard launcher. Aplication windows closed but i still see launcher, diablo in process list. So forced to use Terminate processes inside sandbox.Craig@Invincea wrote:C3CvUJugtI3eMv wrote:1) Netbeans 8.1 64 bit installed inside sandbox even not starting. 3. if you copy using sandboxed explorer this window not appear
Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.5)
I was unaware of the AppGuard template. I'm aware that C:\Sandbox being in system space, has to have exceptions in AppGuard or it does break Sandboxie. I'm curious if AG template was updated lately. I'm trying to sort my random download issue.Syrinx wrote: @BJM the AppGuard template is likely something that just hasn't been updated lately.
