Favorites in Sandboxed Web Browser (IE)

My Sandboxed Web Browser stops working as soon as I want to open my favorites, the favorites menu stays blank. I'm on Windows 8.1 64 bit and using the latest Internet Explorer from the desktop. How can I get my favorites working in my Sandboxed Web Browser?

During installation I have tried shutting firewall and antivirus down, I have tried to start with only Microsoft services (msconfig), ran the installation as an Administrator, copy pasted my favorites in the favorites folder of the Sandbox... All to no avail. Is there any log in which I can find what goes wrong? Any help please?

Hello-

We've just verified that on a clean Windows 8.1 64-bit system, running all the latest windows updates and Sandboxie 4.12 64-bit that the favorites display without any issue.

Can you please let us know what additional security software you have installed as there may be another application that is causing this issue.

I'm using just Windows Defender and Firewall now. I refreshed my Windows 8.1. pro with the help of an ISO provided by MS and installed Sandboxie as one of the first programs. The favorites problem however still persists:
Deactivated Windows Defender and Firewall
1) Ran the installer
2) Ran the installer as an Administrator
All to no avail, even on this fresh install, the favorites from IE11 will not open and the sandboxed webbrowser hangs.
One positive point... when I run the sandboxed webbrowser as an administrator, I get a little further. It than does show the menu (favorites, feeds, history). But as soon as I click on it, the sandboxed webbrowser hangs. Any suggestions as to what causes this persisting problem?
