A software is not working on the sandbox [SOLVED]

Hi!

i want to run the app "Free screen video recorder" but it's not working! (Well! Yes and no..)

At the end of the installation (in sandboxie) i checked "finish and launch free screen video recorder" And it's working! But when i close the program and want to re-open it, nothing happen even if i make a shortcut! i have no error message! i just click on freeScreenVideoRecorder.exe in sandboxie and the program not open at all!

Any idea why?

Palemoon, I just tested Free screen video recorder, installed it in a sandbox and runs fine for me sandboxed afterward.

Once installed, try running the program via Sandboxie Start menu.

May be it's not working because i have Vista 64bits?

i removed Sanboxie and re-installed it and the problem is the same!

i tried other software and it's ok!

Thats possible.

Probably it wont make a difference but you might want to create a new sandbox and install Free screen video recorder in it. And try running it sandboxed from there. Use default settings in the new sandbox.

Maybe someone using Vista 64 bits can try. I tried in XP and can try in W7. I ll install the program in a sandbox in W7 later. I ll reply here again after doing that.

I wouldn't try going back in versions just for one program that cant install and run from a sandbox. Try finding a replacement for Free screen video recorder, thats what I would do.

Palemoon, I tried in W7 32 bits, Free screen video recorder installed just fine. Ran it sandboxed via Sandboxie Start menu and by clicking the FreeScreenVideoRecorder.exe out of the Sandboxed Program files folder. Both ways, Free screen ran and worked fine.

Well! Thank you very much bo.elam for your test and help

I will let you know if i succeed to run this program! i know it would be better to try a similar program but i like to find a way to fix it when something is going wrong!
