Some noise and new version is out

Curt@invincea@: Ok, please keep us posted. If you want me to test Chrome sandboxed, I'm in. I'm using 37.0.2062.68 beta-m (64-bit) now.
Do you mean some penetration tests or something?
I've noticed some slowdowns, hangs and crashes using Firefox too. Need to change portable to installed FF.

I don't get that far Bo. Firefox freezes as soon as Photobucket's 'Choose photos and videos' button is clicked. Causes first the revolving blue circle that just stays there. Closing Firefox via the 'X' button brings up the 'Firefox is not responding' dialogue box. 'Cancel' has to be selected in this box and then the browser will close. Then this appears:

Close these to get Firefox working sandboxed again and resolve to remember to go to Photobucket using Firefox outside of the sandbox.

Using Windows 8.1 with all updates.
I cannot repro this problem. When I click "Choose photos & videos", the standard file selection dialog comes up with no problems in both Win 7 & Win 8.1.

Since you are getting a breakpoint exception, some plugin must be interfering. Does anyone else have this problem?

I had trouble with the computer regarding the latest Windows Updates. A long story but I ended up reinstalling the Windows 8.1 OS and Firefox. I came here today to report that I now don't get the Photobucket problem.I'm only just up and running properly again to be able to come here and say this.

I'm sorry to have wasted your time with this but I thought I had a thoroughly clean and good installation of the OS and Firefox. Apparently something must have been amiss somewhere though. Apologies once again and thanks for looking into the difficulty.

I still have crashes with Chrome 37.0.2062.94 unknown-m (64-bit) under Sandboxie 4.13.3. Same like described in my earlier posts, always with an error 0x00000000

Dun, here is what you should be seeing. Sbie 4.13.3, Win 8.1, Chrome 37-64. It works flawlessly here. I even have 2 flash videos playing in other tabs.

Are you getting a crash DMP (perhaps in C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\CrashReports)?

Also, why the "unknown-m". It should say "beta-m". Have you tried to reinstall Chrome?

Thanks for quick reply and forgive me, I messed up a little bit
Crash folder is empty. I had 37.0.2062.94 beta-m (64-bit). When this build has been released as stable I switched update channel from beta to stable - reinstalled Chrome using stable installer. That's why it says "unknown-m". It's stable version for sure. Same for others if you read comments:
http://googlechromereleases.blogspot.co ... te_26.html

I got this crash because I had "Drop admins and advanced users rights" box ticked. With unticked Chrome doesn't crash any longer. So now when I'm able to use Chrome - will test it hard soon.

Ok I will test this OpenIpcPath for fonts and dropped rights

Thank you for your replay and time :)

Are you sure about this Dun? I can run Chrome 37-64 just fine with drop rights enabled. I don't know why this would cause Chrome to crash because it is not using elevated rights in the first place.

I enabled auto-delete sandbox for testing and was running Chrome via shortcut and in incognito mode.
OpenIpcPath = yes, Dropped rights = yes, Crash = yes
OpenIpcPath = yes, Dropped rights = no, Crash = no
OpenIpcPath = no, Dropped rights = yes, Crash = yes
OpenIpcPath = no, Dropped rights = no, Crash = no
Hmm, it looks like it works without OpenIpcPath for fonts but it crashes with dropped rights. Weird. Win 7 x64 SP1 here. Do you want me to post Sandboxie.ini?

Two days ago I installed BitDefender Internet Security 2015 build 18.14.0.1088. BitDefender search advisor doesn't work inside sandboxie

Sure, post your sandbox.ini. Do you have any Chrome crash DMPs under C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\CrashDumps?
