So it seems like every week I see another article about how another serious/dire/you-must-disable-Java vulnerability is found. Question: does Sandboxie protect against these vulnerabilities? I am running Chrome as my browser in a sandbox but Java is not itself installed into the sandbox. Thoughts? Apologies in advance if this has been covered, I do not see it in my search of the threads.

Does Sandboxie protect against all these Java flaws?
As long as you're running programs sandboxed, then yes you are protected.
The problem though, comes when you run an unsandboxed program that uses java.
I haven't had java installed in months. The only program that I use (unsandboxed) that needs java for some operations is OpenOffice, and typically that's been for Search operations.
I use Firefox and Chrome browsers and haven't had any need for java.
Gamers might have different needs than me, though.
