A naive question.
If Sandboxie provides complete protection from the internet and all programs are run sandboxed, what is the point of having multiple sandboxes?

I have 40+ sandboxes. The reason I run so many is because with my default "internet surfing" I use a browser with cookies, java and all scripting disabled and run plugins to stop tacking. So if I have a website that needs security settings to be loosen, then I create a sandbox specifically for that site only.

Some other sandboxes are for games. When you can play a game within a sandbox, you don't have to worry about all the orphan files that are left behind when you uninstall. You finish the game and delete the sandbox. Simple and clean but not all games can be sandboxed, unfortunately. GOG and Steam are sandboxed.

Also, I like checking out different browser versions and even a new browser, so I have a sandbox for that, too. If I want to check out new software and it doesn't come from a place like Softpedia to tell me there are ads built in or other unwanted add-ons like toolbars, I test it first in a sandbox to see if it's safe.

Sandboxie without a doubt is one of the most valuable security tools to invest in.
