mouse ghosts only in browser w/SB using FF

Allright here we go. My mouse fades in and out but only in FF browser with SB. Doesn't do it all the time. Started last week. Haven't updated of installed anything new.

It's ok in other browsers w/o SB or in any other program. So it can't be the seating of the usb connector.
Default box is empty so updated from SB ver 3.70 to 3.74 (with anti-V off). No change. Seems fine except
when browsing w/FF using SB. Weird. Can't be an anti-static issue as mouse is fine otherwise. I have no
clue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
