SOLUTION:After checking microsoft updates I found that update KB3057839 was the culprit.I uninstalled this update and all is well. Microsoft support web site states
"MS15-061: Vulnerabilities in kernel-mode drivers could allow elevation of privilege: June 9, 2015". The summary states "This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Windows. The most severe of these vulnerabilities could allow elevation of privilege if an attacker logs on to the system and runs a specially crafted application. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts that have full user rights. " Hope this helps anyone who has had this issue.

This KB has completely broken the Sbie clipboard. We're looking into it.

Are other systems afected too? Or Windows 7 only?

What do you advise, wait with the Windows update or install all updates but the KB3057839? Or wait for a new version of Sandboxie and then install all the updates?

Can someone confirm if it only affects Sandboxie v4.18 and up or older versions too?

@ harlan101 - How do you uninstall Windows updates?

Just wait for a new Sandboxie-beta...

@ Bellzemos You can either wait for a new beta version of Sandboxie or to uninstall a Windows update go to control panel--programs--view installed updates--right-click the update you want to uninstall and select uninstall.I'm sure that Invincea will have a fix soon.If you uninstall the windows update involved it will most likely show up again when windows searches for updates so be aware and don't re-install until a fix is available. You can choose to hide the update until then if you wish.I don't encourage uninstalling windows updates at all.The copy/paste/clipboard is something that I use extensively everyday. Therefore, I uninstalled the windows update for that reason. When Invincea has a fix I will re-install the update.Hope this helps.

Thank you, both. I will probably be getting 10s of calls from all the users that were recommended by me to try Sandboxie so the only solution will be to uninstal the update in question.

@ harlan101 - When I go to Windows update history and right-click on any update I don't get the option to uninstall it. :/

I also noticed this issue.

Up@ You may uninstall the update via control panel or just hide the message.

Thank you deugniet, I can't believe I didn't know how to find this myself. I never had to uninstall an update before. Thanx! :)

I have hidden the KB3057839 until the issue with Sandboxie gets resolved and installed all other updates (I always install the optional too) and got 2 instances of the GWX.exe running - and the Get Windows 10 tray icon. Yuck! So I had to uninstall the KB3035583 to get rid of it.

I sugest all of you who install the optional updates to hide the KB3035583 - unless you want to have an advertisment running on your system.

Can we use sandboxie alongside this current issue as before this windows update?

This Windows Update KB3057839 has something to do with attack on Kaspersky and exploits used in that attack.

It looks like the clipboard still works, you just get a lot of SBIE2205 errors. You might want to just hide those for now.
