Problem with File Manager

Post by Unknown_User_673 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 11:40 am

Hi there.

Thanks for developing Sandboxie.

I am afraid i am having a bit of trouble with Sandboxie. After updating my Windows XP Home OS edition, Sandboxie kind of keeps "capturing" xplorer² into its default sandbox whenever I open this file manager. A proof of this is the # sign that appears on xplorer² titlebar. This way, it doesn't open, for example, zip archives within itself, but do this through the Windows shell, opening a WXPH window with the archive folder and its contents uncompressed.

So could you please tell me what I could or should do to solve this? Take into consideration the fact that this persists even after uninstalling Sandoboxie and "manually" deleting all its Registry keys.

Thanks in advance for your time.

eh... if sandboxie is no longer installed on your system, there are no programm executables, no drivers and no services that can sandbox anything, so i think it's rather a problem with xplorer then with sandboxie...
