Janko

Are you able to test using the following steps?

Empty the contents of the Sandbox
Drag Installation into the desired Sandbox.
Select "Run as UAC Administrator" when prompted ---> This is the step that allowed the installation to happen (otherwise, I would get the same error message that you did).
After the installation is finished, right-click on your Sandbox --> Explore Contents
Navigate the program's installation folder and create a Shortcut on the Desktop
Right-click on the new shortcut and add "-no-sandbox" at the end of the target

I really wouldn't recommend removing Windows Updates unless as a temporary last resort. If you can identify a specific KB others may be able to reproduce and a true fix be made if required.

Looking at the screenshot I see your shortcut was made as:

Code: Select all

"C:\Sandbox\JAVOR\DefaultBox\drive\C\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe. -no-sandbox"
The extra period (.) and flag (-no-sandbox) set there would certainly cause issues and count as a problem with the shorcut.

Something more like this may have worked though I'm not sure if firefox actually supports that particular cmd flag or not?:

Code: Select all

"C:\Sandbox\JAVOR\DefaultBox\drive\C\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -no-sandbox
and for chrome based stuff it's actually

Code: Select all

--no-sandbox
Generally Browsers will function better if they exist (are installed) outside the sandbox and simply ran inside.
Please see Installing Browsers Directly Into SBIE [Updated 6/06] for more information.
