Wrong default browser set

Post by RayRRod » Thu Jun 13, 2013 9:11 am

I normally use Pale Moon as my browser but also use/have Chrome, Firefox, IE and Safari
I installed Sandie and it made Firefox my default browser.
I do not want that
I want Pale Moon as my default browser when I run Sandie.

1 How do I make PM my default browser when I run Sandie?

2. How do I run any one of those browsers when I run
Sandie, ie I want to run them from time to time or 2 different ones at the same time, side by side, in Sandie

Something simple, no regedit, no command like stuff,, etc

Hi Ray, you can set Palemoon as your default browser in Tools>Options>Advanced>General. At the bottom, put a tick on"Always check to see if Palemoon is the default browser on startup". I would also untick the option in Firefox. Do this out of the sandbox.

To run other browsers sandboxed, right click on their icon in the desktop or Start menu entry and click Run sandboxed. In the menu, choose DefaultBox (if thats the only sandbox that you are using) and click OK.

You can have Sandboxie Control create shortcuts to run browsers sandboxed, using the sandbox of your choice:
Sandboxie Control window > Configure > Windows Shell Integration > "Add Shortcut Icons" button
Pick the sandbox and then pick the browser program from the menu that opens.

Thanks, it worked.
It was so easy, I do not know how I could not see it.
Thanks to both of you.
