Hi all, I have done a recovery of files Ihave downloaded from sandbox, but now when i go to delete contents, it says it will delete 33 folders and 800 megs, but I see no files in the recovery box. I am scared to delete the sandbox, what do I so, will I lose data ?

The first thing that I would advise is to browse to your "Sandbox" folder using Windows Explorer.
If you used the default "Top-level Folder", and C: drive, that location will be:
C:\Documents and Settings\(your name)\Application Data\Sandbox

Open that folder and find the folder that corresponds to the sandbox whose contents you want to delete. For example, the 'DefaultBox' folder.

Right-click that folder and choose 'Properties', to verify that the amount of data and number of sub-folders in that sandbox folder corresponds to approximately what Sandboxie reported.

33 folders isn't excessive, though 800 MB is a lot, but it depends on how long you've been using this particular sandbox, and what programs have been running in it. You may want to use Explorer to browse through the sandbox and make sure that you have recovered all of the files that you downloaded, and may not have saved in a Recover Folder.

Remember, Sandboxie clones a lot of data from your unsandboxed folders, so if you're satisfied that the sandbox folder does in fact contain 33 folders and 800 MB, and you have not left any downloads in a folder not specified as a Recover Folder, then it's safe to allow Sandboxie to delete it - and you won't lose any data.

I should note that the recoverybox only shows you files to recover that are specified in your ini as a RecoverFolder, so for example lets say those 33 folders are in the Program Files folder, well unless you have Program Files listed as a RecoverFolder, then those files and folders (in Program Files) arent gonna show up in the recoverybox.

One additional comment, about programs that have been run in the same sandbox:
Remember, if you have used another program in that same sandbox, such as your email program, the sandbox might also contain any emails that you have downloaded. If you have not allowed your email program to have full access to the unsandboxed mail folders, the emails you downloaded will still be in that sandbox.

If you chose to allow the sandboxed email program to have full access to your unsandboxed mail folders, you should be OK. But, I would check that by running the email program unsandboxed, and verify that the sandboxed program successfully saved the emails to the mail folders outside of the sandbox.
