Can not update Sandboxie past 3.62

Any version of Firefox for the last couple of years on my computer plays just fine with Sandboxie 3.62 However I can not upgrade to any version higher than that without receiving the "Firefox has stopped working" message, along with a detail report. I have uninstalled Sandboxie in every way you can think of, I have turned off my firewall, I have disbaled Firefox add-ons, I have tried several things others have suggested on forums and it doesn't help. I have Win 7 64-bit. I can try any higher versions to no avail but then I reinstall 3.62 and it works right off the bat. I keep Firefox updated and am currently on v18. Any help, suggestions or tips would be appreciated! Thanks!
