I just bought a lifetime license (your activation servers will stay active for my whole life, right?) and stumbled about one thing while configuring...
... programs are just recognized by name, and there's no way to tell program.exe in one path from another program.exe in another path? Thx.

Re: How to distuingish program paths?
Where are you looking to determine paths? And for what setting?
For forced programs for example, it will populate some programs detected, but then you can drill down from the "Open/Select" file button to select a certain program location.
Only .exe are available of course.
The license automatically renews for verification every 180 days.

This sounds like a situation where forced folders could be used to have each program with the same name running in a separate box. Eg if you have an old version of firefox in one, then a new version in another.

For this, I use customized shortcuts pointing to different paths/sandboxes instead of forcing a program. I've never set up forced folders for such an end though.Syrinx wrote:This sounds like a situation where forced folders could be used to have each program with the same name running in a separate box. Re: How to distuingish program paths?
I do some of this. In one computer I have four dedicated sandboxes for Firefox. In one sandbox, I force Firefox. And use this sandbox for my regular everyday usage of the browser. For two of the four sandboxes, I created sandboxed shortcuts that I place next to each other at the taskbar. And for the fourth one, I run Firefox by right clicking the SBIE icon, then hover the browser over the dedicated sandbox and click Run web browser.Mr.X wrote:For this, I use customized shortcuts pointing to different paths/sandboxes instead of forcing a program.
