Adobe Flash Player, risk?

... there was an Adobe Flash "hole" that could be exploited, that SandBoxie v3.xx did not contain.

As far as I am concerned, Flash has never been a risk...ever since I started using Sandboxie. But I don't dare run any Flash content out of the sandbox.

Nonen, I read the thread about Chrome. You can try Dragon. I don't use Chromium type browsers but I have installed in a sandbox several times Comodo Dragon and it always installed properly and ran well. I have never kept any of those installation for more than a few hours so I don't know how well Dragon works out of the sandbox if the sandbox is kept for a while but for a few hours, it works great.

In my XP, I install Flash in my system since I use Flash a lot in that computer. But in my W7, I rarely need Flash so I don't install Flash anymore in the system but if I have any need for it, I just install Flash sandboxed and after I am done using it, I delete the sandbox. I feel pretty safe doing it either way but in the W7 not installing the plugin makes me feel better since I avoid installing plugins as much as possible.

Thanks for the suggestion. At the moment, I am trying a different setup where I install everything outside of the sandbox and just run it inside. The advantages are better performance and the possibility of cleaning everything upon exit. I will keep your suggestions in mind though, as they might be useful in the future and certainly open up new avenues when working with other programs. I had never thought of using a portable version.
