Leftover Sandbox names....
SbieCtrl_BoxExpandedView
There is already a thread about this (can't find it at the moment) but still no fix for it.
After deleting a sandbox the SbieCtrl_BoxExpandedView_NAME entry in the ini file will not be removed. So the ini is messed up with this after creating and deleting several sandboxes for testing purposes.

Re: SbieCtrl_BoxExpandedView
Just noticed this on my system too. I searched* briefly for the thread, but didn't get any hits. Anyway, can we manually delete the old sandbox name entries in the ini file or is it no big deal that they remain there?Ruhe wrote:There is already a thread about this (can't find it at the moment) but still no fix for it.

When you decide to remove a Sandbox, there's still traces of it in the Sandboxie.ini
For example:
I create a new Sandbox called MyNewSandbox and then decide to remove it.
You will find this in Sandboxie.ini
In future, can we expect to have this small issue to taken care of?
Thank you.

You will find this in Sandboxie.ini
Code: Select all
SbieCtrl_BoxExpandedView_MyNewSandbox=Y
Thank you.

Yep, I always tend to either name the sandbox after which program I will be installing/running in that sandbox (along with the programs version number if I am using multiple versions of the same program, like if I am using the stable version of something unsandbox and decided to test the beta version of the same software, without replacing the stable version installed).MitchE323 wrote:You guys must always name your new boxes something new I guess. I have test1 test2 and test3 and when I get rid of them, I don't go to test4 test5 and test6. I go right back to test1, test2, and test3.
Or I name the sandbox after what I will be using the sandbox for (Games, shopping, banking, pr0n, media, installation tests, etc.).
