Are you using x86 or x64 Chrome? Please try latest Sandboxie 4.13.3

64-bit version (today's fresh) is extra beautiful :-/ Fresh install, no extensions, empty sandbox created with Default settings. Chrome crashes immediately upon start.

I just installed the new version (over the top) and chrome still crashes, should I uninstall first the old version?

EDIT:I tried both ways (over the top and uninstalling first) and my problem still exists.

Several users are reporting that Chrome 37-64 is still crashing. Unfortunately, we can't repeat the problem here.

Please try these things to see if they fix the problem
1) OpenIpcPath=\BaseNamedObjects\FontCachePort
2) Disable drop rights
3) Disable all Chrome addons
4) In Chrome advanced settings, disable hardware acceleration.
5) In Chrome advanced settings, click on "Reset browser settings"

No, just stick with that. You are the 2nd user (Dun is the other) that has had Chrome 37-64 crashes due to dropped rights. So obviously there is more investigation required.

Great! Thanks.
When will the issue be fixed with dropped rights?

Solved (at least for me)
Windows 7 64-bit SP1
Sandboxie (x64) 4.13.3 beta
Confirmed fix for Chrome Version 37.0.2062.94 beta-m (64-bit)

Thank you.

There were a lot of modifications to the 64 bit injection code done especially for Chrome 37-64 to be compatible with their sandboxing. There is a possibility that ASLR is placing our injection code into a memory location that is causing a crash (for some users). If this is the case, then rebooting might make the problem go away. For those still having problems, if you re-enable drop rights, then reboot, does the problem persist 100% of the time?

Is anyone experiencing the Chrome 37-64 crash in Win 8.1?

Using Win 7 Pro x64 and official 32 bit latest version of Chrome and latest SBIE beta. Crach happens in Chrome 37 unless Dropped Rights is disabled. Even if all extensions are removed in Chrome, still crash unless disable Dropped Rights. Thanks and I hope you get this sorted because I enjoy so much this fine program.

Yes, it persist. I've noticed something. You know my configuration.

I'll try to add and check IPCOpenPath for fonts and compare screenshoots.

Disabling Dropped Rights makes no difference on my system. Chrome runs happily in a few sandboxes with Dropped Rights enabled (checkbox checked) and crashes in one that has that disabled (checkbox unchecked). But the error message is different under the latest beta. Anybody played with allowing the sandboxed Chrome access to the non-sandboxed bookmarks database?

We are still unable to repro the crash, but I have been able to repro some abnormal behavior. We are looking into it and I will keep you posted.
