atom editor setup crashes in sandboxie x68/win8

I have windows 8 -- if I try to run "atomsetup.exe" from https://atom.io, sandboxie complains

SBIE2224 Sandboxed program has crashed: AtomSetup.exe
Runs fine outside of sandboxie.
