SBIE2205-Windows 8.1-MS Update KB4019215 [FIXED-SBIE 5.19.4]

Hi,

Since I updated to Sandboxie 5.18, I've been getting this strange error several times during each session:

SBIE2205 Service not implemented: CoUnmarshalInterface (W8)
SBIE2318 DLL initialization failed for 'combase.dll'

Sometimes it appear repeatedly, making browsing impossible. It happens with both Chrome and Firefox. I'm using Windows 8.1.

I've now tried uninstalling SB 5.18 and installing SB 5.19.3 beta, but the error still occurs.

Okay, thanks—guess I'll wait for the fix!

(BTW, before starting this thread, I Googled sandboxie and combase.dll, but couldn't find anything.)

I just wanted to mention that this error seems to pertain to Flash. I have Flash disabled and when I enable it, I get the error. It also has something to do with a recent Windows update. Thanks.

this is what pops up, what can I do to stop this? The program loads up in the sandbox but this message is annoying to see every time. I have the latest version and I just installed it today.

You need to install Sandboxies latest beta, 5.19.4. It solves the messages. In the link below you can get the installer and read change log for 5.19.4.
