Question IE11 webcache [SOLVED]
Question IE11 webcache [SOLVED]
I have the 5.27 version. I used IE11. Then I ran ccleaner and looked at what it purged. It said it purged all files in my C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache folder. I verified this looking at the folder. Then I closed ccleaner. Then I re-opened it and ran it. It said the exact same files were there and were purged. I double-checked my folder contents - they were empty. I did not open IE between ccleaner sessions. I have not looked in detail at other files / folders but thus far this appears to be the only one with this behavior. To me this is odd but maybe there is some reason for this. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello joesph66 ,
Here's a related thread:

I am not sure how your problem is related to Sandboxie. Were you able to empty that folder before using Sandboxie?

You can use this link to check if IE(sandboxed) is set up to modify your host:

Re: Question IE11 webcache
After further research you are correct - this issue is not a Sandboxie issue. Thanks.
