How to rename sandbox without delete contents?
Any way? I have lots of apps installed there, can I rename it manually?
If the sandbox that you are renaming is DefaultBox, then the following will probably not be enough instructions.
If it's not DefaultBox, then this should work.
Using an UNsandboxed Windows Explorer, open the "C:\Sandbox\(user)\" folder;
Rename the existing sandbox folder;
Open Sandboxie Control's window;
- if you have the sandbox set to "Never remove this sandbox or delete its contents", uncheck that under Sandbox Settings > Delete > Delete Invocation
Then right-click the old sandbox name > Rename Sandbox > Enter the same name as you used, above.
If you have created any shortcuts that are outside of the sandbox, that run a program that's inside of the sandbox, you need to edit the sandbox name in the "Target" and "Start In:" boxes for the "Properties" of those shortcuts.
